USCB Honors Two Local »Æ¹ÏÊÓÆµ
The »Æ¹ÏÊÓÆµ Beaufort recently honored two of its alumni. Television reporter Danielle Cobb received the Young »Æ¹ÏÊÓÆµ Achievement Award, and hospitality entrepreneur Andrew Kelly earned the Distinguished »Æ¹ÏÊÓÆµ Award.
Cobb is a multimedia journalist with WSAV TV in Savannah, Ga. Her work focuses on the communities of the Lowcountry, where she brings attention to local voices, events, and issues with authenticity and compassion. Originally from Spartanburg, SC, Cobb earned her bachelor’s degree in communication studies from USCB in 2024. She now lives in Beaufort, SC.
Kelly has built a successful career in the hospitality industry on Hilton Head Island, his hometown. He’s the owner of Duck Donuts, an account liaison for Rollers Wine & Spirits, and the founding director of Oktoberfest at Shelter Cove Harbor & Marina. Kelly graduated from USCB in 2014 with a bachelor’s degree in hospitality management.
Cobb and Kelly were recognized in a ceremony during USCB’s »Æ¹ÏÊÓÆµ Brunch at homecoming on February 23.
USCB’s Distinguished »Æ¹ÏÊÓÆµ Award recognizes the achievements of graduates from the past 11+ years. The Young »Æ¹ÏÊÓÆµ Achievement Award salutes the notable success of graduates from the past 10 years.
